An official visit to Imam Sadiq University on March 5, H.E Mr. Kazutoshi AIKAWA, ambassador of Japan and the Japanese delegation, had a meeting with the university officials to discuss various fields of cooperation between the two sides.
In a scientific session followed by this visit with the presence of university professors and students, while introducing Hitotsubashi University and its history and activities, Prof. Dr. Nobumasa AKIYAMA underlined the importance of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons for Japan, the importance of stability in West Asia, nuclear deterrence in East Asia and its challenges for Japan, the lessons of the war in Ukraine for Japan, the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran as a regional power and its decisive role in regional issues, the role of Japan in helping to solve regional crises in West Asia and the cooperation capacities between Iran and Japan.

In the end, there was a Q&A session between the students and the guest.This event was held by the office for International academic cooperation with the help of student associations of English language and Political Sciences.
