Eftekhari (born auguest 26, 1968) is an Iranian political scientiest- political sociology. His research field ls "Security Studies" with emphasis on Islamic approach. He is one of the main founders of "New Iranian Security Studied" (NISS) & publieshed several textes in thise field. Eftekhari has proposed & developed the concepte of "Positive - Negative Security" in his 2001 book "Global Security".Recently (since 2003) he has put critical studies in the security studies & the production of a native- islamic theory in this feild on his scientefic agenda. Accordingly he ecxplained the distinction between Islamic idea of security & Secular idea of security in his 2013 book " Societal Security: Islamic Approach". In 2018 "International Farabi Festival" elected Eftekhari as promlnent theorist in I.R.Iran for his theory "Islamic Theory of Societal Security" (ITSS). He is now professor of Political Sociology in "Islamic studies & Political science Faculty" (ISPSF) at Imam Sadig University (I.R.Iran). He also is Editor-in-Chief of "Political Knowledge" (bi-Quarterly Scievtefic Journal). |
